The basalt statue is about 1.3 meters in height and 1.8 meters in length. It was found in 2011 in a discarded position in an area south of the Building XVI and believed to be once part of a monumental gate complex that led to the citadel. It dates to the 9th to 8th century BCE and currently in the Antakya Museum.
