Funerary Stele Fragment

The limestone fragment belongs to the upper section of a rectangular, tower-shaped stele. It bears part of a one-line Hieroglyphic Luwian inscription mentioning food offerings. The stele measures 52 cm in height, 42 cm in width, and 43 cm in thickness. It was discovered on the surface in 2012 on the southern side of Yunus Höyük and dates to the 8th century BCE. Currently, it is housed in the Gaziantep Archaeology Museum.
