Funerary Stele Fragment (YUNUS 5)
The small limestone fragment likely belongs to the upper section of a funerary stele. It was found inthe Yunus necropolis during Leonard Woolley’s excavations at Karkamış, but was subsequently lost; today, it is known only from photographs. It bears part of a one-line Hieroglyphic Luwian inscription.
