Funerary Stele Fragment (YUNUS 8)

The limestone fragment was originally part of a funerary stele. It was discovered in 2017 in the eastern section of the Yunus necropolis. The fragment measures 68.5 cm in height, 64.5 cm in width, and 73 cm in thickness. On one side, it preserves a section of the original single-line Hieroglyphic Luwian inscription, which includes a curse formula against damaging the stele. It is currently housed in the Karkamış excavation depot.
