Funerary Stele (YUNUS 9)

The limestone, rectangular, tower-shaped funerary stele was discovered in 2020 at the eastern side of the Yunus necropolis. It measures 2.01 m in height, 0.95 m in width, and 0.72 m in thickness. The single-line Hieroglyphic Luwian inscription on its side identifies the owner as "Sanai, son of Amaza". The stele is kept at the entrance of the Karkamış Archaeological Park.
