Funerary Steles

A couple of crudely carved limestone steles were found by L. Woolley in 1913 in Yunus necropolis. On both steles the incised carvings show a seated figure. Neither piece has any inscription on it. Both pieces are roughly 20 cm in width and height. Their small size and crude style may be indicative of the owners' lesser social status. Whereabouts of the steles are unknown.
