Double headed sphinx

The basalt relief is about 1.35 m in height and is dated to 950-850 BCE. It was located on the Herald's Wall and currently on display in the Anatolian Civilizations Museum in Ankara. With its bird-headed tail, the creature reminds the Chimaera of the Greek mythology.
