Inscribed Orthostat Fragment (BOROWSKI 2)

The inscribed basalt fragment is the upper left corner of an orthostat. It measures 20 x 23 x 20 cm in height, width, and thickness. It has entered into the Borowski Collection from the antiquities market, and there is no information about the provenance. It displays similarities to some of the Karkamış inscriptions. The fragment is currently in the Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem.
