Killing of a Lion

The relief shows the Storm God and a warrior/king killing a lion. The 1.11 meter-high orthostat has been dated to the 10th century BCE. It is on display in the Anatolian Civilizations Museum in Ankara. The upper left corner of the orthostat is replicated from the original in the British Museum.
