Stele of the son of Suhi I

The basalt stele was excavated in the courtyard of the Storm-god Temple prior to 1913. It is about 1 m in height and 0.4 meters in width. The 8-line inscription (KARKAMIŠ A4b) commemorates an accomplishment of "Ura-Tarhunza, Great King, Hero, King of the Land of Karkamış, son of [Sa]paziti, Great King, Hero" and names Arnu[...], a Priest of Kubaba and the son of Suhi, as the person who erected the stele (see also a very similar stele of Suhi I). The stele is dated roughly to the 10th century BCE and is currently in the Anatolian Civilizations Museum in Ankara.
